Why Is This Site Important To Me?

I belong to a current events group online.  We have discussed Depression survival equipment, possible outcomes of our economy, and ways to be prepared for what's ahead.  This is what gave me the idea to have a showcase to show the many types of equipment we've discussed.  We aren't gloom and doom people, yet we have learned that it's better to be prepared.  A showcase of equipment would show others that there are things they should have in their homes, regardless of the economy.  There are hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, Bird Flu, Avian flu, Swine Flu, and other events that would call for having Depression survival equipment.  Remember, anyone could be relocated to another location if an emergency occurs.  Be prepared.  The current flu situation could cause for quaratined areas and none of us would be able to go to the store for food.   This survival showcase is a well thought out list of items that many people may want to consider owning in case of a crisis.
